Watch two generations of Star Trek actors take to the stage to perform a stunning rendition of a classic song spotlighted in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy's premiere concluded with a resonant montage set to "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" as the USS Athena starship arrives on Earth and docks onto Starfleet Academy's San Francisco campus for the first time. Originally written by John Phillips and sung by Scott McKenzie in 1967, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy composer Jeff Russo's version was performed by Rufus Wainwright.

Star Trek on Paramount+ continues to showcase the musical talents of its actors. Isa Briones performed "Blue Skies" on Star Trek: Picard and live at Star Trek Day 2021.
