LIMA — The Jan. 24 boys basketball game at Lima Senior High School will include a celebration of the school’s 70th anniversary, and the school is looking for alumni to participate in the festivities.
The Spartans will play Columbus Bishop Hartley, with the junior varsity game starting at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity game starting at 6 p.m. Before the varsity game, all alumni will be invited onto the gymnasium floor to sing the school’s alma mater, and honorary basketball captains from various eras of the school’s basketball program will be honored at halftime. Pictures and other memorabilia will be on display in the lobby during the game, and attendees will receive a free commemorative keepsake at the game.
