And they’re doing it exceptionally well, if you believe in talent ratings.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAs of Thursday evening, Indiana’s transfer portal moves rank No. 1 nationally, above Texas Tech, Virginia Tech and Texas A&M, among others, in On3/Rivals’ rankings. The Hoosiers, in the middle of a playoff run, have seen just five portal entries while adding 15 players.
That might, and probably will, change with time as more members of the roster enter the portal and other teams keep putting classes together, but it’s a strong performance for a program that’s had more on its plate than all but one other these past few weeks.
Former TCU quarterback Josh Hoover, former Michigan State wide receiver Nick Marsh and former Wisconsin offensive lineman Joe Brunner lead the talent rankings for Indiana’s class as of this writing.
