The Los Angeles Chargers' season has come to an end after being defeated 16-3 at the hands of the New England Patriots. Justin Herbert was sacked six times, which only built on the 54 times he was sacked during the regular season.

The Chargers' had the most offensive line combinations in the NFL this season due to several injuries up front, including losses of Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater to season-ending injuries. Because of this, the Chargers have signed a veteran offensive lineman to a futures contract.

The Chargers have signed former Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Ben Cleveland. Cleveland was drafted in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He has appeared in 64 games over the last five years with seven starts.

Considering Zion Johnson and Trevor Penning are both pending free agents, bringing in Cleveland gives the Chargers a proven depth piece who can start if needed.
