There are four new games you can claim for free on Steam and, after doing so, keep them forever, with no catch. Free titles on the gaming platform aren’t too uncommon, as you can consistently see new titles being added as free-to-play (F2P) titles, while others often reach 100% discounts. You can, for example, claim Initial Drift Online for free on Steam as part of a limited-time discount, and add it to your library permanently.

In addition to this offer, you can also grab four other free games on Steam of varied genres. The list of the four different games was shared by user SteamGamesPC on X. The four free Steam titles are Le Petit Raccoon, Run Coffee Run, Let’s Save Mice, and Lavalamp. All four of these games can be downloaded and played for free right now. Once you add them to your library, you’ll own their license, allowing you to download and play them whenever you’d like.

Steam Drops 4 New Free Games You Can Play Now

The Free Games Were Released In January 2026

All four of these titles are January 2026 game releases and have been made available at the start of this month. Unlike what the post mentions, they weren’t all released on January 14 – Le Petit Raccoon, for instance, arrived on January 7, while Lavalamp was released on January 10. Regardless, I do recommend adding these titles to your library sooner rather than later, to ensure you have access to them at any given time.

Even if you don’t plan on playing them right now, you’ll still be able to download them later on because you redeemed them while they were free. All four of these free games on Steam are technically under the free-to-play category, which means it’s unlikely they’ll be turned into premium products later on. However, it could be easy to lose them given the constant influx of new titles on the platform.

You Don't Need Any Kind Of Subscription

The Free Steam Games Offer A Large Variety Of Genres

What may come as a surprise is that you don’t need anything else to download and play these games, like a subscription of any sort. Le Petit Raccoon is described as a stealth cooking game, in which you steal the food to cook for your clients. Run Coffee Run, on the other hand, is a fast-paced FPS platformer game. In it, you’ll fight to stay awake as you progress through the various stages.

Let’s Save Mice is a multiplayer adventure game where you and your friends will need to join forces to explore an island, face enemies, and solve puzzles as you try to rescue sequestered rodents. Lastly, Lavalamp is a first-person walking simulator with a psychedelic theme.
